Wonderful experience which included presenting my research in Dr. Gayoye‘s: Gender, Sexuality and Law class and Dr. Santiago Abel Amietta’s: Murder, Death and Destruction Criminology class. Thank you to those whom I met, engaged with at the School of Law (Faculty of Business, Law, Humanities & Social Sciences), at Keele University, UK, while a Visiting Research Fellow in March 2026.

SCI-MUNCY (STATE CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION)
DECEMBER 2025, SCI-Muncy, Pennsylvania
Conducted interviews with individual women convicted for sexual offenses. Writing their life stories. Grateful to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Superintendent, Ms. Jessica Carey and staff at SCI-Muncy for their support to conduct my research, and each woman who participated.

I continue to provide a “voice,” an understanding about women who have committed a violent crime through an educational lens. In addition, share research collected, past and present from a global perspective, which pertains to this cohort of women. Pennsylvania Counseling Services, in the United States provided me with this instructive platform.

The attendees are those who work in various capacities in the provision of educational services for people incarcerated within Pennsylvania’s State Correctional Institutions, in the United States. I provided an overview of my continuing work in Pennsylvania, Texas, and abroad with women serving life sentences for murder convictions.
